Boil Water Order Lifted for Winnemucca Residents

The boil water order issued for Winnemucca residents was lifted Monday afternoon.

The Nevada Department of Conservation & Natural Resources says bacteriological test indicate that E. coli and other coliform bacteria are not present in the water system.

The order was put into effect late Friday afternoon for water customers in the residential areas above (on the east side) Minor Street and East Winnemucca Blvd., and in the Warmoth Addition.
