'Roadmap to Homeownership Expo' Saturday in Reno

Homebuyers, or those looking to learn more about refinancing in the current market will benefit from the "Roadmap to Homeownership Expo" June 15 from 1-4 p.m. at the Reno Sparks Association of Realtors (RSAR), 5650 Riggins Court, near Meadowwood Mall.

Complimentary snacks, homebuyer forums, and great raffle prizes including a raffle for an Ipad Mini will be offered throughout the afternoon. Learn what it will take to get you qualified to buy a new home!

Information will be available on the home buying process including, down payment resources, credit report and credit repair, mortgage loans that require no money down, market conditions, title and escrow process, and the inspection and appraisal process. Lenders will also be onsite to provide loan information and free credit reports. Guest speakers include Helen Graham, President of RSAR, Bill Brewer, with USDA, Nicole Larrimore with Nevada Rural Housing Authority, and Jill Perry with Financial Guidance Center.
