Nevada Highway Patrol troopers say weather and a wet roadway may have contributed to a deadly accident on Highway 50 at Glenbrook Sunday afternoon.

Troopers say a Toyota Camry driven by 29-year-old Eduardo A. Vizcarra-Sicairos was heading west on Highway 50 in Zephyr Cove when it skid into the oncoming and hit a Hyundai Elantra driven by 26-year-old Shanna D. White.

Vizcarra-Sicairos' 24-year-old wife, Reyna Vizcarra died on scene. Her husband, White and White's two passengers, 21-year-old Kellie Kerklay and 21-year-old Katelyn Kraiprai, were taken to Renown Regional Medical Center for treatment.

White and Kerklay were released shortly after the accident while Kraiprai and Vizcarra-Sicairos are still being treated at the hospital.

Troopers say it was hailing around 3pm Sunday when this accident happened.

Three lanes of the highway were blocked for about three hours as investigators completed their on-scene investigation.
