Two Arrested Mid-Burglary in Lemmon Valley

Two men have been placed under arrest after being apprehended mid-burglary in a home in Lemmon Valley.

According to the Washoe County Sheriff's Office, Deputies were called to a burglary in progress at a home on Heartpine Street. When they arrived on scene,  officials established a perimeter around the building and made contact with the men inside. One suspect, 30-year-old Donald Lawless of California left and was taken into custody. The second suspect, 43-year-old Reno resident Terry Bessey had to be removed from the attic crawl space by a swat team.

Both men were arrested on one felony count of burglary. Their bail is set at $20,000 each.
