Local Teen Collects Teddy Bears for Oklahoma Tornado Victims

Posted: Updated:

Teenager Hannah Hoobyar has collected about 2,500 teddy bears and stuffed animals along with toiletries and other supplies for tornado victims in Oklahoma.

Sunday she held a car wash and bake sale to pay for the cost of shipping everything - and raised $150, but still needs about $1,300 more.

"The need is still huge, and Hannah is hoping to continue helping Northern Nevadans help those hit so hard by the tornadoes," says her mother Tracy.
