From the Boys & Girls Clubs of Western Nevada:
Comstock Mining, based out of Virginia City, NV, recently donated $2,000 to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Western Nevada to use for programs and activities at the youth services agency. Scott Jolcover, Director of Business Development, presented the check to Laurie Gorris, CPO of the Boys & Girls Club, in the games room at the Club.
"We are very pleased to be able to donate to the Boys & Girls Club," stated Jolcover. "The Club provides vital care and programming for the youth in the community, so we know the donation will offer more kids the opportunity to participate."
With the "Super Summer" Day Camp just around the corner, Gorris emphasized the importance of the donation. "We depend on community support to help keep our fees low for the kids. This donation will go a long way in our efforts to do so. We are very grateful for this new partnership."
