The Reno-Tahoe Airport Authority Board of Trustees voted unanimously Thursday to hire Marily Mora as new CEO. She'll replace retiring Krys Bart this July.

Marily Mora brings 24 years of airport management experience from three international airports including San Jose, Oakland and Reno-Tahoe International where she served as Chief Operating officer for 12 years before moving to Oakland in 2011.

Bart is retiring from RNO after 14 years as the CEO of the 62 busiest commercial airport in the nation.

Mora is excited to be coming home to Northern Nevada, where she raised two daughters who graduated from Reno High School. Her in-depth knowledge of the Reno-Tahoe International Airport and community will help her hit the ground running when she officially begins her duties in July.

Mora's selection completes a five-month national search that attracted candidates from around the nation.
