RTC Paratransit Open House Wednesday

Posted: Updated:

The RTC is hosting a community open house to review and preliminary recommendations to improve RTC ACCESS paratransit service in the Truckee Meadows.

RTC ACCESS is a paratransit service for people with disabilities providing prearranged door-to-door transportation for those who cannot ride regular public transit. The RTC wants to hear from the public on the potential recommendations to improve the services for senior citizens and people with disabilities. RTC project team members will be available to provide information, answer questions and gather input for the plan.

The open house is Wednesday from noon to 2pm at the Washoe County Senior Center, 1155 E. 9th Street in Reno. RTC RIDE Routes 2, 5 & 15 all serve this location.

RTC ACCESS reservations can be made by phone by calling 348-5438.
