Sparks Police are on the lookout for the man who robbed a Wing Stop employee in the 2800 block of Vista this morning.

According to police reports on the incident, the Wing Stop employee was taking company proceeds in a bank bag to deposit it at a nearby Safeway, when she was approached from behind by a man who forcefully stole the bag. The employee was uninjured during the robbery.

Various witnesses say the suspect had been sitting in front of the restaurant for around forty five minutes before the robbery. He is described as a Hispanic or Asian male, with a slender build in his late teens or early twenties. The suspect was wearing blue jeans and had a black hooded sweatshirt pulled up around his face to hide his identity.

The Sparks Police Department is asking that anyone with information on this crime call the police station at 353-2225 or Secret Witness at 322-4900.
