Search for Nevada Education Dean Down to 3

The search for a new dean at the University of Nevada's College of Education in Reno has been narrowed to three finalists from Stanford, South Florida and Boise State.
School officials say the three will appear at public forums in the coming weeks to talk and answer questions from faculty, staff, students and others.
They Reno Gazette-Journal reports ( ) the finalists include Susan O'Hara, an associate professor in Stanford's School of Education and executive director of its Center to Support Excellence in Teaching.
The others are Kenneth M. Coll, associate dean of Boise State University's College of Education; and Stephen J. Thornton, chairman of the University of South Florida's Department of Secondary Education.
O'Hara's forum is scheduled April 24, Coll's May 7 and Thornton's May 9.
