Douglas Deputies Need Help Finding Runaway

The Douglas County Sheriff's Office is seeking the public's help in locating a runaway juvenile from Austin's House, who has been missing since April 9, 2013.

On April 9, 2013, 13 year-old Evelynn Ploston from Winnemucca ran away from Austin's House in Minden. At this time her whereabouts are unknown.

Polston is described as a white female juvenile, 5'3", 150 lbs, brown eyes with blonde hair. It is unknown who she may be with or what location she is headed to.

If anyone has any information about Evelynn Polston, we urge you to contact the Douglas County Sheriff's Office, Investigator Brian Hubkey at (775) 782-9926 or Dispatch at (775) 782-5126.

    The list of legal problems for the Washoe School District grew this morning as the State Attorney General's Office filed six counts each against the six trustees involved in the Pedro Martinez suit. But The School Board's outside counsel says he began working on settlement in that matter since last Wednesday and able to file it immediately.
