Douglas County Sheriff's deputies say they arrested a 20-year-old man who stabbed his grandfather early Monday morning.

Deputies say they responded to the report of a gunshot victim in area of Slate Road in the Topaz Ranch Estates around 12:30am.

When they got to the location, they say they found Bradley Endsley of Las Vegas inside his great-grandfather's home holding a knife.

They say 82-year-old Robert Setsodi then pulled into the driveway bleeding from a stab wound. Deputies say Setsodi stated his grandson attacked him. (He had escaped from the home prior to the deputies' arrival.)

Medics eventually flew Setsodi by Care Flight to Renown Regional Medical Center in Reno. He's currently undegoing surgery at the time of this writing.

Deputies eventually placed Endsley under arrest for attempted murder.

The reason for the attack is still being investigated. No one else was hurt in the incident.
