A gathering of local food truck vendors returns to downtown Reno starting Friday.
The first "Food Truck Fridays" of the year will be from 6 to 9pm Friday at the old RTC Citicenter Station at the corner of east Fourth and north Center Streets in downtown Reno.
They'll continue the first and third Friday of each month through October 18th.
The owners of Gourmelt told us all the trucks have condensed their menus to try and get food to people nice and quick this year.
After you grab a bite to eat you don't have to go far for some more Friday night entertainment.
The Reno Bighorns are hosting "Battle Born Night" inside the Reno Events Center before tonight's game.
More than a dozen area events including the Reno Great Balloon Races and Reno-Tahoe Open will be at the game talking with folks who are gearing up for summer.
"To have these events, I try to get to them as much as I can in the summertime, and I know that all the other people that live here in town experience the same things as well," says team president Mike Reynolds.
Battle Born Nights starts up at 6pm with tip-off at 7pm.
Great Basin Brewing Company will host a beer garden - and Tumblebus will be on site for children to play.
