Posted: Updated:

South Lake Tahoe Police are looking for suspects in an armed robbery at a hotel that happened late Saturday night.

Police say it happened around 11:30 p.m. at the Pinewood Inn on the 3800 block of Lake Tahoe Boulevard.

Officers learned a woman wearing a hooded sweatshirt knocked at the front lobby door that was locked. She told the clerk that she needed a room. When the clerk opened the door, two men wearing ski masks and gloves entered the office. One man was armed with a gun and pushed the clerk behind the counter. The other man was armed with a large hunting knife and placed it near the clerk's neck. The woman then demanded money as the man with a gun opened the cash drawer and took some cash.

The three suspects left in a brown four-door Cadillac, heading eastbound towards the casino corridor.

The first suspect was described as a black woman, 5'4" with a small build. She was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and black gloves.

The suspect with a gun is described as a black man, 6'2" with a medium build. He was wearing a black sweatshirt, dark jeans, black ski mask and black gloves.

The suspect with the knife is described as a black man, 6'2" with a medium build. He was wearing all dark clothing, black mask and black gloves.
