The Washoe County Sheriff's Office says authorities are investigating a two-vehicle accident in north Reno Saturday morning.

Deputies tell Channel 2 News that it happened around 10:30 a.m. near the intersection of Lemmon Drive and Military Road.

Authorities closed a portion of Lemmon Drive, starting at Buck Drive, so that emergency crews can get through to the accident scene.

Reno Police tell us three were taken to the hospital. One victim who was pinned in one of the vehicles was taken by a Care Flight helicopter, and the other two were taken by REMSA. The extent of injuries are unknown at this time.

Police say teenagers were involved in the accident, but could not tell us the ages of the drivers or passengers.

Alcohol does not appear to be a factor in the crash.
