Nevada Highway Patrol troopers have arrested a woman they say was drunk after she caused an accident that injured three people.

The crash happened around 8am Friday on I-80 near the I-580 interchange (Spaghetti Bowl.)

Troopers say 28-year-old Camyrn Mullen was driving a Chevrolet Silverado pickup when she hit a Ford Explorer heading south onto I-580 from I-80. They say the force of the impact caused the Explorer to roll over onto its roof where it then slid on the top portion of a guardrail before rolling back onto its tires. The pickup continued east and came to a rest on its wheels about 300 feet ahead of the Explorer.

The driver of the Explorer suffered minor injuries as did two passengers in the rear seat of the Silverado. All three were transported to Renown Regional Medical Center.

Troopers say Mullen then failed a series of sobriety tests and was booked into the Washoe County Jail for a driving under the influence of alcohol charge. She was not hurt in the crash.

Due to extensive damage to both vehicles, each one to be towed away.

Traffic was temporarily reduced to one lane on the two-lane ramp as crews cleaned up the scene after 9am.
