Lawlor Events Center is playing host to the Regional Science Fair. Today, students set up their presentations to get ready for the judging tonight.
Whether it's the winter car saver, or how string telephones work, these ideas are either based in science or inventions to solve a specific problem.
"In the lower grades, they are studying what we call backyard science exploring the world around them. And in the upper grades they are getting into the science disciplines like environmental sciecne, engineering and computer science and math and getting very involved with it," says George Ochs.
The judging starts at 6:30pm Wednesday. And you can see them all yourself - this exhibit opens to the public from 9am Thursday until 8pm that night.
