The Reno Police Financial Crimes Unit arrested two people last week for alleged credit card fraud.

Police say 35-year-old Michelle Johnson and 43-year-old Michael Bonvinci tried to use fake credit cards to buy two vehicles last Thursday.

Police say they and two other suspects admitted to trying to buy the vehicles with false cards and drive them back to Las Vegas.

Investigators say they were also carrying methamphetamine.

They face numerous charges including possession of a stolen credit card and identity theft.
