The Sierra Nevada Chapter of ARMA International along with Record Management Company Iron Mountain are holding a free shred day from 9am to 1 pm in the Atlantis parking lot at the corner of Virginia Street and Atlantis Way.
Anyone can bring up to five boxes of personal papers to be shredded - free of charge. Confidential papers only, no electronics, no cardboard.
U.S. Bank will also provide information on how to protect yourself from identity theft.
Donations will benefit the nonprofit, Step2. Step2 is a comprehensive substance abuse treatment program that provides women and their children suffering from chemical addiction, poverty and domestic violence the opportunity to rebuild their lives.
