A number of law enforcement agencies are responding to a death investigation in Sun Valley.

The Washoe County Sheriff's Office says someone called to report four to six shots fired in the area of Wewoka Way and Leon Drive around 3 p.m. Monday. The caller wanted to remain anonymous and said they heard the shots about 45 minute earlier.

Once deputies arrived on scene they found a man dead inside a vehicle parked on the driveway of a home in the 100 block of Wewoka Way. "When our first units arrived they did find one person who was fatally injured at a residence on Wewoka Way. At that time, that's what started our response. Those persons did find some spent shell casings in the area, Raven began to respond to help secure the perimeter," Deputy Armando Avina told our crew at the scene Monday afternoon.

Deputies also found a handgun near the vehicle. They are still investigating whether the shots were fired from a home or possibly from the driveway where the vehicle was found.  A SWAT team was brought in to clear the home and some of the neighbors were evacuated as a precaution. There was no one inside.

Deputies say they don't have much to go on, "There's no call history, some of the neighbors we talked to say it's a fairly new resident that has lived there, so not much info that we have about who lives there," Deputy Avina said.

Tuesday we learned a yellow, Suzuki GSR 750 motorcycle was seen leaving Wewoka Way shortly after the shooting. Deputies found it abandoned a couple blocks away. Investigators want to speak with anyone who may have seen this motorcycle or the rider yesterday. The motorcycle has some features that deputies hope are recognizable. All the photos of the motorcycle are attached to this story.

Deputies are also searching for a black Chevy Tahoe or GMC Yukon or Escalade that was seen leaving the area. It's said to be black with tinted windows, low-profile 22-inch rims and unknown plates.

If you know anything, call the Washoe County Sheriff's Office at (775) 785-9276.

We'll continue to follow this story and bring you any new details as we get them.
