Pedestrian Hit By Vehicle On Freeway Near Spaghetti Bowl

The Nevada Highway Patrol is investigating after a pedestrian involved in a hit and run on the freeway Sunday morning.

Troopers tell Channel 2 News that it happened around 6 a.m. in the eastbound lanes of Interstate-80 near the Spaghetti Bowl in Reno.

They say the pedestrian was intoxicated while walking on the freeway when he was hit by a vehicle, which then took off. There is no suspect vehicle description available at this time.

Troopers tell us the pedestrian was taken to the hospital with what appears to be non-life threatening injuries.
