Reno Police are investigating after a pedestrian was hit by a vehicle Thursday evening.
Police say it happened near 4th and Ralston streets. They say the unidentified 41-year old pedestrian was not walking in a crosswalk when he was hit by the 40-year old driver, who did have a green light.
The pedestrian was taken to Renown Regional Medical Center for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. Police say he was drinking before he was hit and was cited for jaywalking.
The driver was cited for not having a driver's license.
