Dozens of veterans, National Guard members and military family members attended a job fair in Reno Friday.
The Hero 2 Hired job fair at the Reno Town Mall was designed for soldiers who have recently returned home from the battlefield to help them get back into civilian life.
Many different companies were there offering a wide variety of positions.
One Navy veteran who we spoke to today said the fair was fruitful - and he's dedicated to findiNg work.
"I get up every morning at the same time, get my nice clothes on and actually go out looking for a job. So in a sense my new job is looking for a job," says Robert Blalock.
Organizers say men and women in uniform who are looking for work should register for their free website. For a link go to https://h2h.jobs/
