Casino Game Design Company Holds Reno Grand Opening

A casino game design company that's expanded to Reno held a grand opening for its development studio on Friday.

Governor Brian Sandoval and Reno Mayor Bob Cashell were on hand for the ribbon cutting on Kietzke Lane at Video Game Technologies, Inc. on Kietzke Lane.

The Economic Development Authority of Nevada- or EDAWN - helped to bring the company to Reno.

Today the CEO said they needed to expand to the Silver State to compete.

"This industry is fiercer than ever. And most of the innovations are coming out of Nevada. We decided we need to be here too," says Jon Yarbrough.

VGT is hiring several positions: art manager, artists, software engineers, QA engineers, statistican, technical writer and game designer.
