Reed High School Teacher Passes Away

The Washoe County School District is mourning the loss of one of its teachers.

District officials confirm Reed High School teacher Kelly Harris passed away unexpectedly at his home on Tuesday.

According to the school's website, he taught at Reed for more than 7-years. He taught higher-level English, along with creative writing and science fiction classes.

He went to the University of Nevada and Wichita State.
