The Nevada Department of Wildlife will stock the Truckee River with trout on Tuesday.
The annual event will happen at Fisherman's Park on Galletti Way in Reno with trout from the Mason Valley Hatchery.
The stocking of the fish coincides with the beginning of the spring fish hauling and stocking season in western Nevada.
Between now and early summer, NDOW stocks hundreds of thousands of fish in western Nevada waters.
The Truckee River alone will receive approximately 70,000 trout.
