Cold Springs Area Has Number of Small Earthquakes

An area north of Reno had a number of small earthquakes Sunday morning.

The University of Nevada Seismological Lab reports it registered at least a dozen small earthquakes centered in an area south of the Bordertown and Cold Springs areas.

The lab says the largest quake measured at a 2.5-magnitude around 7:50 a.m.

The Washoe County Sheriff's Office has not received any immediate reports of damage.
