Reno police are investigating the robbery of a local business overnight.
The manager of America Rents on South Virginia Street says someone stole $30-$40,000 worth of property overnight -- including a truck. The suspects also cut phone and internet lines.
He says having that money gone will hurt both their business and the community.
"From a local standpoint the impact is like dropping a pebble into a pond. Unfortunately when that money is taken we have the inability to expand our workforce, donate to local high schools those kinds of things," says Mike Moody.
The manager says there was no sign of forced entry and police are investigating former employees as suspects.
The company plans to upgrade its security system and change the locks.
