Sparks firefighters are investigating what caused flames to break out at a business early Thursday morning.
Firefighters say a bystander called them after seeing smoke coming from the roof of a building on Sullivan Lane around 1 am.
Crews eventually found the fire in the attic - and put it out before it could reach neighboring businesses.
No one was hurt.
A preliminary investigation shows the fire may have started by accident, and maybe started by a fluorescent light ballast.
Eighteen personnel responded included a Battalion Chief, three structure engines, one truck company, one ladder company, one safety officer and one fire investigator.
