Just after 5 a.m. Thursday, officers responded to a report of an armed robbery at the Walmart on Kietzke Lane and McCarran Blvd., after a man tried to walk out of the store with a TV.
When employees confronted him in the parking lot, police say he showed a 10-inch hunting knife and threatened them.
Fortunately no one was hurt and police were able to find the TV a short distance from the store, but they are searching for the suspect.
He is described as a black man, 6'0 tall, 220 lbs with a mustache and goatee. He was wearing a black baseball cap with a "K-Swiss" logo, a black long sleeve knit sweater, and blue jeans.
