Reno Police Investigate Shooting At Apartment Complex

Reno Police are investigating a shooting at an apartment complex early Saturday morning.

Police say it happened around 1:30 a.m. at a complex located on the 1600 block of Wedekind Road.

When police arrived on scene, they found a 19-year old man with a gunshot wound to his torso. Police learned he was shot during an altercation.

The victim was taken to the hospital where he is recovering after surgery.

Police believe the shooting may have been gang-related.
