Matthew Mcarthur
Lyon County Sheriff's Deputies have arrested a man they say sold illegal drugs from his bedroom window.
Deputies say 36-year-old Matthew Mcarthur of Fernley was arrested after a two month long investigation into the possession of stolen firearms.
They say Mcarthur's front bedroom was a narcotics distribution center where he sold methamphetamine, marijuana and illegal prescription pills from his window. They say a surveillance system in his bedroom was wired into a 50-inch flat screen TV where it monitored the front of the residence, and the bedroom window.
Deputies say they recovered 3.8 pounds of marijuana, 7.6 grams of methamphetamine, illegal prescription pills and a firearm.
Mcarthur was booked into the Lyon County Jail on $115,000 bail.
Mcarthur faces charges of trafficking methamphetamine, possession of a controlled substance for sales, possession of marijuana over one ounce and owning or possessing a gun by an unauthorized person.
