University of Nevada head women's basketball coach Jane Albright has dismissed senior guard Chanelle Brennan from the program for violations of team rules. 

 "This is unfortunate for all of us," Albright said.  "We all understand the high standards that must be met to represent our University, and Chanelle fell short. She will remain on scholarship the rest of the academic year, with the opportunity and my expectation to earn her degree from Nevada in May."

 Nevada will play its final road regular season game at New Mexico on Wednesday at 6 p.m., before closing out the conference season Saturday at home against Colorado State at 4 p.m.
