NV Energy says power is back on for residents living in the North Valleys area after an outage Sunday morning.
Officials tell Channel 2 News that it happened around 7:25 a.m. in the Lemmon Valley, Golden Valley and Stead areas. They say about 3,400 customers were affected.
Officials tell us the outage was caused by a fuse that was blown at a substation in Stead. So, crews were dispatched to replace the fuse and get power restored for residents.
Affected customers got their power back on by 8:15 a.m.
