Precautionary Lockdown Lifted at Cold Springs Middle School

The Washoe County Sheriff's Office tells us deputies were searching for a person who reportedly had a pellet or air-soft gun in Cold Springs, but didn't find anyone.

Cold Springs Middle School -- located nearby -- was put on code yellow lockdown as a precaution around 4pm.

Most of the kids had already gone home for the day and no one was hurt.

No other information was immediately available.
