Reno police say they've arrested a man in connection with a stabbing that killed a woman last Wednesday night.

Investigators arrested 36-year-old Daniel Hill today.

Police say Hill was arrested on a parole violation, but then after interviewing him, he was also charged with robbery with a deadly weapon for a gas station robbery last week -- and open murder charges.

Police say Hill stabbed 44-year-old Lori Hart multiple times in the parking lot of the Sands Regency around 11pm Wednesday.

The Reno woman was taken to the hospital where she passed away.
