Aly's Prom Closet will open its doors for the 12th year in a row on Tuesday to help low-income students look their best on the big day.
But the shop offers more than just dresses and tuxedos - they'll also help with hair styles and make-up to make the night memorable.
To shop -- students first need to qualify for Aly's Prom Closet through their high school counselor.
Qualifying is based on financial need.
Aly's Prom Closet relies on donations from the community to operate.
You can drop off gently used formal dresses, tuxedos, shoes, jewelry and purses at the store on the second level of the Shoppers Square Mall at 277 East Plumb Lane in Reno.
The store will be open Tuesdays and Thursdays 4pm-7pm and Saturdays 12pm-4pm through April 27th.
Since its inception in 2002, Aly's Prom Closet store has helped thousands of students.
Aly's Prom Closet is named for Aly Christiansen, a Bishop Manogue High School graduate, killed in an automobile accident in 2001.
