South Lake Tahoe Police arrested three people on drug-related charges after a traffic stop.
Police say around 4 pm Monday, an officer stopped a car that was going on the wrong side of the street at the intersection of Moss and Primrose Roads, just east of Pioneer Trail.
After approaching, the officer says he smelled marijuana in the car. Police say a search turned up almost 28 gram of methamphetamine and about 5 grams of marijuana.
Police arrested all three men in the car.
The driver, Brian Morris of Sacramento, faces charges of possession of a controlled substance with a loaded firearm, possession of a firearm with a prior violent offense, prohibited person possessing ammunition, concealed weapon inside a vehicle, transporting a controlled substance, driving while under the influence, providing false information to a peace officer, resisting arrest and conspiracy to commit a felony.
Both Watkins and Campbell were arrested on conspiracy to commit felony and transporting a controlled substance.
