Sparks Mayor Martini Delivers 'State of City' Today
Sparks Mayor Geno Martini delivered his annual State of City speech Monday morning inside City Hall.
Mayor Martini addressed upcoming challenges, and paid tribute to the Sparks city team and highlighted their accomplishments.
During last year's address, Mayor Martini announced that the city stabilized the budget, after dealing with a $4.5 million loss in 2011. Mayor Martini was also optimistic as he described an increase in tax revenue that helped boost the Rail City.
