Man Arrested, Charged With Open Murder

Police have a man in custody accused of murder.

22-year-old Julian Acox was a suspect in a shooting that lead to a death back on February 2nd.

Police say he shot 32-year-old Merlin Herrald of Elko multiple times that morning on Sutro Street.

Herrald later died at a nearby hospital.

Acox is being held on charges of open murder.
