Man Arrested After Trying to Light Store on Fire

A man is behind bars after he tried to light the 7-11 on 800 South Wells Avenue on fire.

Police say 41-year-old Randy Ybarra of Reno was loitering inside the store and when he was asked to leave he took a bottle of lighter fluid and doused the area behind the cashier. He then tried to light it by setting several napkins on fire.

He was stopped by arriving police and taken into custody.

He is currently being charged with 1st Degree Arson.
