The former owners of Butcher Boy -- which served northern Nevada for more than 30 years -- are planning on making a comeback.
You may recall when the Butcher Boy stores in Reno and Sparks closed back in 2009 after going bankrupt.
Now, Clint Jolly tells Channel 2 news that he and his father will begin selling the Butcher Boy brand products at local farmers markets and other community events.
Jolly is looking at selling items like specialty sausage, bacon and marinated tri-tip at farmers markets and through pre-orders as well.
He wants to open another store in the near future -- but Jolly says there is no timeline and guarantee. They still need to obtain the right licenses.
Jolly hopes to make butcher boy products available starting this summer.
