The Washoe County Sheriff's Office has identified the man found dead inside a south Reno home on Monday morning.
Neighbors alerted authorities around 8am on Monday after doing a welfare check on 57-year-old Randy Hale on Taurus Circle In the Virginia Foothills.
Based on preliminary investigative details discovered at Hale's residence, Sheriff's Detectives believe Hale succumbed to injuries consistent with a person falling. This is an ongoing investigation pending the final Medical Examiner's Office report.
Deputies say Hale was home alone at the time.
At this time, Detectives are not seeking a person of interest or a suspect in this death investigation. However, Detectives are interested in speaking to anyone that had contact with Hale from Friday, February 8 - Sunday, February 10, 2013.
