One man is dead after he rolled his semi-truck on Interstate 80 Westbound.

It happened around 10:30 Sunday night three miles past the California state line.

For an unknown reason the driver made a sharp turn, went down an embankment and rolled the truck on it's roof, which caused him to be pinned inside.

When emergency crews arrived on scene the man was still alive, however rescuers were not able to get him out of the truck in time and he later passed away inside.

Troopers do not know the cause of the accident or how the driver managed to go off the road.
