Reno Police Investigate Shooting Outside Nightclub

Reno Police continue to investigate a shooting outside a nightclub early Sunday morning.

Police responded to the 1100 block of East 4th Street around 2:45 a.m. to a report of a shooting. Officers were unable to find the victim on scene.

Police were later told that the unidentified 20-year old victim checked into Renown Regional Medical Center for treatment. Police say the victim received what appears to be non-life threatening injuries.

Police learned the victim was shot during an altercation while leaving the nightclub. Currently, police do not have a suspect description at this time.
