You may see some construction around Victorian Square in the weeks ahead.

The city says phase three of a public infrastructure project is now underway at the events plaza between the movie theater and Victorian Avenue.

The work includes relocating the Victorian Square clock, a large electrical box and kiosk.

The memorial brick display will also be removed and relocated.

The city says this $321,000 project should be done by late March and the impact to traffic and parking should be limited.

The city hopes this project will create a more open event space that will help attract more special events to Sparks.
