Posted: Updated:

Sparks police are looking for three men they say broke into a home into a Park Vista Apartment early Wednesday morning.

Police say the victim heard a noise and woke up around 1am.

Investigators say he encountered a masked man with a gun, before being hit by a heavy object. He then heard a gunshot, but no one was hit. Fortunately, the victim only suffered minor scratches to his arm.

Police says the suspects stole a laptop computer and fled.

The first one is described as possibly Asian, 20 to 25 years old, 5'8" and 170 pounds.

Police don't know the race of the other suspects. One is 5'6" and 160 pounds - the other is about 5'9" or 5'10".

All three suspects wore black clothing with gloves and ski masks.

If you know anything call Sparks Police at 353-2225 or again call Secret Witness at 322-4900 or text your tip to 847411. Your call will remain anonymous. A $1,500 reward is being offered.
