Reno detectives say they handed out citations to eight men who solicited an undercover police officer for sex during a prostitution sting.
Authorities say they conducted the sting Tuesday on West Fourth Street in downtown Reno.
Officials say the undercover female officer was approached by eight different men as she walked down the corridor.
The men ranged in age from 21 to 69 and were from the Reno area and northern California. They were issued misdemeanor solicitation citations, which carry a $500 fine.
The following men were cited:
Braulio Villalobos-Martinez 23 years of age, Sparks, Nv. resident
Ibrahim Akbar 53 years of age, Elk Grove, Ca. resident
Lacy Raymond 69 years of age, Fernley, Nv. resident
Joseph Lupica 23 years of age, Reno, Nv. resident
Glenn Miller 64 years of age, Reno, Nv. resident
Israel Campus-Medina 37 years of age, Reno, Nv. resident
Joseph Carbajal 21 years of age, Reno, Nv. resident
Juan Serratos-Olguin 39 years of age, Sun Valley, Nv. resident
The Regional Street Enforcement team is comprised of Detectives from the Reno Police Department, Sparks Police Department, Washoe County Sheriff's Office, and the University of Nevada Police Department.
