University of Nevada Police Look For Assault Suspect

The University of Nevada School Police is asking for your help in finding a suspect in an assault case.

A student reported on January 27th around 9 p.m., she was struck and rendered unconscious after having a brief conversation with the suspect.

Another student later came forward to report that she was approached by a person matching the same description on January 24th around 9 p.m. in the area of 15th and Sierra streets.

Both students described the suspect as a black man missing two front teeth, 5'7" to 5'8" and 180 lbs. (see composite drawings on right) He was last seen wearing a grayish green puffy jacket. If you see him, you're urged to not engage him or try to stop him.
