Huge Turnout for Free Microchipping After Story Airs

Washoe County Regional Animal Services say they've seen a huge turnout for free microchipping since we aired a story on Monday.

But even with a bigger than expected response, officials say the wait is still just about 7 minutes.

The microchipping is free for one year for all household animals.

Just bring yours to Washoe County Animal Services on Longley Lane Monday through Friday from 10 to 4. Or call them at 353-8900 to find out more.
